Inside Cannes with Leo

LEONARDO DiCAPRIO is hitting the red carpet on the Croisette in Cannes, and we're there to capture all the glitz and glam!

Leo's new documentary, 'The 11th Hour,' about the environment, premieres at the Cannes Film Festival on Saturday, and our CHERYL WOODCOCK sat down with the award-winning actor to find out about the enlightening film. "I'm very excited," Leo said about the film's screening at the famous fest. "There isn't a better worldwide media platform to have for this movie. I think it's a very important film and I hope it will translate into something in the real world."

"I am very proud of the movie," he tells Cheryl. "It's been a three year process to get these experts, thoughts and ideas condensed into an hour-and-a-half format of a film. It's been incredibly difficult but one of the more rewarding

experiences in my career."

Other bold-faced names expected to head to the south of France include ANGELINA JOLIE, whose drama, 'A Mighty Heart,' debuts at the festival on Monday, and GEORGE CLOONEY, BRAD PITT and the rest of the glamorous cast of the highly anticipated 'Ocean's Thirteen,' which will be screened on May 24.

Some of the movies competing for the coveted Palm d'Or prize this year include the JAKE GYLLENHAAL thriller 'Zodiac' and QUENTIN TARANTINO's 'Death Proof,' one of the films from the double-feature extraordinaire 'Grindhouse.' And good news for movie fans -- the COEN BROTHERS are back! Their crime drama 'No Country for Old Men,' starring JAVIER BARDEM, is also competing for the top honor.

The Cannes Film Festival wraps on Sunday, May 27.
