Leo Buys Eco-Friendly Apartment

Leonardo DiCaprio has bought an environmentally friendly apartment in New York City.

The Oscar-nominated star has paid an unknown amount for the luxury pad in the 263-unit Riverhouse complex, which was built with non-pollutant materials and solar-powered energy.

DiCaprio's new home, which overlooks the Hudson River, comes with programmable thermostats, a 24-hour fresh-filtered air system, a dog spa, media cafe and rooftop green landscaping.

He is expected to move into his new apartment this summer.

The actor's representative says, "Riverhouse is a prime example of how green technology is both accessible and achievable for new residential developments -- it is a groundbreaking building."

Leo starts filming 'Ashecliffe'

Scorsese and DiCaprio to film scene for 'Ashecliffe' in Taunton
TAUNTON, Mass. -- Hollywood heavyweights Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio are filming a new movie in several Massachusetts towns.

Their first stop is in Taunton to film their new movie, "Ashecliffe."

The film is a thriller about two U.S. marshals searching for an escaped prisoner.

Scorsese and DiCaprio both filmed in Massachusetts previously for the movie, "The Departed."

"The Departed" won the award for best picture and Scorsese won for best director.

Shutter Island cast

Michelle Williams joins 'Island'

Michelle Williams will join "Shutter Island," playing the wife of U.S. marshal Teddy Daniels (Leonardo DiCaprio) in the Martin Scorsese-directed drama for Paramount Pictures.
Williams is in talks to join DiCaprio, Mark Ruffalo and Ben Kingsley in the adaptation of the bestselling novel by Dennis Lehane. Laeta Kalogridis wrote the script, and Mike Medavoy, Arnold Messer, Brad Fischer and Scorsese will produce.

The drama revolves around the trip made by Daniels to a remote New England island in 1954 to figure out how a multiple murderess escaped from a hospital for the criminally insane..

Hey everybody! As some of you might already know the site has been hacked and there are still some problems that have to get fixed. The gallery and the news system don't work properly or not at all. That's why the number of updates has been very low lately. But I really hope the problems will be solved and the site will be back to normal soon!
